Just a quick post before I go to bed. We are waiting to hear back from the doctors tomorrow to get your lab results back. A friend reminded me tonight that you will not remember this part of your life. While I'm very grateful for that, I'm also wanting to capture your sweet little spirit during this rough patch. You never stop smiling no matter what. Yes, there are fussy periods, but you are truly a happy baby. Your Dad and I are praying for wisdom for your doctors - we know they are going to figure out what it is we are dealing with so we can find a solution - one that will make you feel better. We love you sweet angel more than life itself! Sweet dreams.

This picture was taken by Jill Brannon. Jill did a great job taking Caleb's 9 month portraits last week. I'll post more when the CD comes in the mail. Can't wait! I'll also post more very soon about Caleb's health. We have had some complications with the tubes that were put in yesterday, and the doctors are running tests. Please pray for wisdom for our wonderful doctors. We're facing something that both doctors have never seen before.
I am praying for your sweet boy and his doctors.
ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture of your sweet Caleb. I will be praying for wisdom for the doctors and that you will hear reassuring news soon. And a solution that will help him. What a beautiful prayer. We have prayed it so many times over for Jonathan's doctors. God hears those prayers I know. God is holding your sweet baby safe and strong, always, always, and always.

Mary,
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be praying for sweet Caleb, the doctors, you & Jonathan! He is so adorable (can we still say that for little boys?!) That picture is so good!!
The greatest gift you can give Caleb is the gift of faith. Not just yours, but a legacy of faithful family all around. A legacy of faithful friends. One day these moments will be the moments he reads about and is reminded once again that God is very real.
