Adding another branch...

...to our family tree!



Baby Smith #2 is expected to be here February 3rd! We couldn't be more excited!

Jonathan and I went to my first OB appointment on Tuesday expecting to hear the doctor confirm that I was 8 weeks along. Well, the ultrasound proved otherwise! We were pleasantly surprised to find out that we are almost 13 weeks! All of you who have been pregnant know that to lose a month of waiting to make your announcement, plus simply losing a month of feeling yucky during your first trimester is WONDERFUL! When the tech started the ultrasound, we were shocked to see a baby moving around, moving arms and hands, rolling around, etc. We were expecting to see our little peanut and a racing heartbeat! And WOW, that was an incredible experience for us both! I asked the tech if we could watch our baby for a second longer, and she said yes of course. I couldn't get enough. Technology is amazing! We were in heaven just like when seeing C for the first time!

Feeling pretty good actually. I was extremely blessed to have an easy and very healthy pregnancy with Caleb, and so far this pregnancy has been pretty easy on me. I've had all of the normal symptoms - but that's good because it's normal, right?! Makes some days rough, but all in all, we're kicking right along! I'm still keeping up with Caleb, so I guess I'm doing okay:)
