Easter Weekend

The Easter Bunny came!

And yes, rainboots were the shoe of choice Easter morning.

At least for the drive to PB.

C and his favorite person;)

"My Daddy" as C so lovingly refers to Jonathan.
This holds special meaning for me.
When we were in preschool at First Pres,
this is where our portraits were taken.
Special:)
Sweetness.

A yummy gift from Mama Boo.

You can count on Bobo to be the cake feeder.

C is showing off his new Boz movie to the great-grands:)

We enjoyed going to church with Gigi and Bobo this morning and then having lunch together. Delicious food and great fellowship (hilarious conversations!)

Very fun day!

Thank you Gigi and Bobo!

A little egg huntin' before heading out.

More fun and excitement was waiting on us back in LR!

The Easter Bunny not only came to our house and Gigi's house,

but he also came to Grammy's!

Caleb loves his Mamaw! She had him rolling!

The beloved carrot toy. Big hit!

Bubbles!

Grammy and C.
Thank you Grammy and Poppy for such a wonderful time!

More delicious food and a great time around the new table!

I am really looking forward to teaching Caleb about what Christ did for us on the cross. We're about to wrap up our year of studying Luke in CBS, and the lesson this week was on the crucifixtion. Whether Easter Sunday or any other day of the year, my prayer is that I will keep my focus on Him and be humbled daily by the meaning of His sacrifice. Truly living for Him without reservation. We serve a risen Savior!

I am beginning to work with Caleb on reciting scripture/scripture memory. There's nothing sweeter than to hear a child's voice repeat scripture after you. "God is love." and "Jesus." coming from this little toddler's mouth melts my heart everyday. Every night, I say a prayer with Caleb before bed. This morning, I was holding him after he got upset over something. He had his head on my shoulder and began saying "Amen...again". That's his cue that he wants to say our prayer. Sooo, it wasn't bedtime but we stood there and prayed together. Pure little heart.
