One year has come and gone. How can time fly by so fast?! This past year has been the most amazing journey watching Caleb grow and develop. He is discovering new things daily and exploring the world around him all the time! And, I do mean ALL the time!
I have a feeling trains are going to be a big part of our future! Caleb's face lights up whenever he hears his train songs or sees trains on TV. Loves choo-choos already! Look out Thomas!As for the cake, I'll just say I'm glad I was able to finish it the night before. It would have been impossible to decorate it the day of C's party. I can't believe I actually considered waiting until party day to do the final icing and to decorate it...what was I thinking?! Only getting 4 hours of sleep isn't much but WELL WORTH IT!

He loves the loud ones, the quiet ones, the animated ones, the riding ones and the swinging ones! ;) We are so glad you all could come celebrate with us...we had a wonderful time with you! We missed you, Mamaw Helen! Caleb loves the book you sent to him...Thank you!! And Benj, you were a great uncle for coming early to play with Caleb...he loved it!

The classic cake scene.The blurriness in some of these pictures is due to my inexperience in photo shop. Still learning! The originals are clear as a bell but after resizing them...well, blurry! Here are a few of my favorites that are sized normally.
Last Saturday, my Dad, Wes and Jonathan spent the day building a swingset for Caleb. It was very, VERY hot outside! A big thank you to GiGi and JoJo for the great swing! And C thanks all of the big boys for working so hard! :) It turned out just perfect!! It's going to be so nice having a swingset that can be added on to later. Great job guys!!

Happy Birthday Caleb! Doesn't it just seem like yesterday that you all were bringing him home from the hospital? Crazy how time flies by. Your train cake is AWESOME Mary! You did a really great job! Lots of neat details. Looks like he will love cake from now on. So cute! Good memories.
