I have a lot of pictures to catch up on. My apologies for the photo overload.
You know how it is for moms, just can't say no to pictures!

Best time of C's day...when Daddy comes home.
C is well-educated in the fruit and vegetable dept. now.
Playing after our picnic.
On the way to the Razorback game. Go piggies!
Caleb and Mrs. Allison...Caleb has won Mrs. A's heart over just a tad. ;)
Caleb's new zoo at Grammy's.
Grammy and C at the game.
C's favorite part...the juice.
Did I mention it was hot?
Yes, he's in his pj's. We ran an errand one morning and found the swing we'd been looking for...so, wouldn't you have stopped too?! Only good moms pull the car over and swing at a moment's notice. LOL! It made his day.

Mr. Joe Cool.
:)
Cruising on his crib. Caleb cruises on anything he can these days. Loves to walk while holding your hands. Getting faster too.
Caleb has started propping his foot up when we're out for walks...just relaxing.
First time wearing his life jacket. We may have to grow into it a tad.
Sacked out after the pool.

Visiting Mama Boo.

Discovering lots of new places to explore.

This is one of C's new things...he loves standing at his high chair and playing with the straps.

Watching a dump truck drop off its load. Both babies were captivated.
At the park with Little A. Sweet babies.

Always smiling...this little kid loves life!
Caleb seems to enjoy the pool more now.
The cold water and splashing were not big hits at the beginning, but now he's tolerating them better.
It seems that I've been playing catch up in all areas of life lately. Caleb is now 10 mos. and 2 wks. and has developed so much during this past month.
- These tubes have been a huge blessing! We're talking!!! As soon as C turned 10 months, he said his first word: "bye-bye". "da da" came next. Now he's saying, "bye-bye", "da-da", "da-dy", "ma-ma". Let me clarify, he is fully capable of saying "ma-ma", but he responds to "Caleb, say ma-ma" with "da-da". It's really funny because he says it with the biggest toothy grin on his face as if he is intentionally holding out on us.
- Eating great! After many delays with progressing to each stage of food for Caleb, he has arrived! He is eating so much and doing quite well with different textures and a large variety of food. Very proud of our guy! He had his first grilled cheese yesterday and LOVED it!
- Some days taking 1 nap (12-4); others taking 2 naps (9-11, 2-4).
- Pulling up, standing (with assistance), and cruising on everything. Always on the move! It's only a matter of time before he's walking. Yesterday, he stood up unassisted for about 2 seconds. It won't be long. Crawling super fast now too. It makes us laugh when he's crawling and then he sees a toy that he wants. It's like he turns on the turbo boosters. He kicks it into high gear and crawls super fast. Gets a laugh every time.
- Opening cabinets, doors, drawers. Loves opening and closing over and over.
- Showing great signs of being a climber already. Ack!
- You have to hang on to C tight these days, because he'll throw his body back when he wants down. He'll lean over with all of his weight.
- Has 8 teeth (4 top/4 bottom) and teething at the moment.
- Loves helping with the laundry. By this, I mean climbing on the laundry pile and playing with the dryer door. Has a new love for the dishwasher too. I see lots of great chore ideas for C in the near future.
- Eskimo kisses and butterfly kisses are fun at this stage.
- Favorite book right now is Jamberry.
- Favorite song at bedtime is "Blue Skies".
- Working hard to figure out the sippy cup and straw cup. At this point, he would rather play with it as a toy. Still prefers juice out of his bottle.
- Loves being tickled. Cackles like crazy. Here's a video of Jonathan tickling Caleb the other night.
